Go and be reconciled to that person. Then come and offer your sacrifice to God.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0 <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">(Mt 5:24 NLTse)<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&#8230;\u00a0The world seeks reconciliation on limited terms. <strong>Christians are to be reconciled, whatever it takes.<\/strong>\u00a0 &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&#8230;\u00a0<strong>Jesus did not include an exception clause<\/strong> for our reconciliation. If the person is an enemy,<strong> Jesus said to love him<\/strong> <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">(Mt 5:44)<\/span>. If he persecutes you, <strong>you are to pray for him<\/strong> <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">(v. 44)<\/span>. If she publicly humiliates you, <strong>you are not to retaliate<\/strong> <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">(v. 39)<\/span>. If someone takes advantage of you, <strong>you are to give even more than he asks<\/strong> <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">(v. 41)<\/span>. &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&#8230; Men spat upon Jesus and nailed Him to a cross. <strong>His response was our model<\/strong>: <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u201cFather, forgive them, for they do not know what they do\u201d<\/span><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"> (Lk 23:34)<\/span>.\u00a0 &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&#8230; <strong>God&#8217;s Word does not say \u201cTry to be reconciled,\u201d but \u201cBe reconciled<\/strong>.\u201d &#8230;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">[39]<\/span>\u00a0But I say, do not resist an evil person!
